ABOUT

This design and glaze is inspired by the beautiful Dotteral bird found on New Zealand beaches. A mum and baby bird can be found on the mug, and is surrounded by two layered glazes that mimic the bird and beach surroundies these cuties are most like to be seen.  The glazes fuse and the amber bubbles to the surface during firing.  Creating a lovely spotted effect.  A local New Zealand speckled clay finishes off the look on this unique mugs. Making it the perfect gift or collectors piece.

This range was part of a collection.  As this is all handmade, reproducing this item may never be the same as the original. Even with the glazing, I cannot guarantee the exact colour or effect.

This means they have no harmful chemicals 
in the glazes I purchase or mix from trusted & tested recipes.  I use (lead free and food safe) glazes on all homewares.

RECOMMENDED CARE

Homeware items are dishwasher safe.  
However, it is recommended that you 
handwash ceramic items.
